This is a foolproof way to make rice! I use long grain Basmati and it is never mushy or sticky. This recipe can be doubled.
1 cup Basmati rice
1 3/4 cup boiling water
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Combine all of the ingredients in an oven safe pot with a tight fitting lid
Bake at 375 degrees for 22 minutes
Allow it to rest covered for 5-10 minutes
Fluff with a fork to serve
